Since 1985, the Hunterdon Choral Union has offered area singers the opportunity to perform major choral works with orchestra. The organization is open to all residents of Hunterdon County and surrounding areas and meets on Tuesday evenings for five to eight rehearsals before each concert. Among the works the Choral Union has performed are Bach Magnificant; Durufle Requiem; Copland Early American Songs; Rutter Requiem; Mendelssohn Elijah; Haydn Lord Nelson Mass; and Handel Messiah. Membership is open without audition.
